What Is Cruise to the Prom?

Cruise to the Prom (CTTP) is a charity Volkswagen event held every summer in Weston-super-Mare. It features a scenic cruise of up to 200 VW vehicles, followed by a full day of entertainment, displays, and fundraising in support of Weston Hospicecare.

The event is open to all VW owners and fans. Whether you join the official cruise or head straight to the Beach Lawns, it’s a great opportunity to admire beautifully kept vehicles, meet like-minded people, and enjoy a classic British seaside day out.

• Location: Beach Lawns, Weston-super-Mare

• Time: 9:30am – 4:00pm

• Entry Fee: £8 in advance / £10 on the day per Volkswagen vehicle (includes all passengers)

How to Take Part

You can get involved in Cruise to the Prom 2025 in one of two ways:

Join the Official Cruise

• Starting point: Sanders Garden Centre, TA9 4HJ

• Arrival time: Between 8:15am and 9:15am

• Cruise departure: 9:30am prompt

Places on the cruise are limited, so pre-booking is essential to avoid disappointment.

Head Straight to the Beach Lawns

If you’re not part of the cruise, you can still attend by heading directly to the event site from 9:30am onwards. The lawns will be open to all visitors throughout the day.

Supporting Weston Hospicecare

Cruise to the Prom is not just a celebration of the Volkswagen community—it’s also an important fundraiser. All proceeds from vehicle entries and merchandise sales go towards supporting Weston Hospicecare, a local charity that provides care and support for people with life-limiting conditions. Every ticket, every purchase, and every visit helps make a difference.
