This is Impact Flags.
A love of bold designs and making a setup your own.

We're a husband-and-wife team who love good design, a good show and, perhaps more than anything, a good chat.
Impact Flags isn't a huge warehouse with thousands of products and a faceless customer service department. It's the two of us, a collection of original flag designs, some rather colourful lighting and a business that's grown from something we genuinely enjoy doing.
It started with an idea
Our story goes back to around 2012, when customers began asking for flags through our graphic design business, Nudge Creations.
Having spent more than 30 years working in graphic design, creating something a little different was always going to appeal.
In 2015, during a trip to Cornwall, we started talking seriously about turning those requests into a business of their own. It was during that journey that Max came up with the name Impact Flags.
Sadly, I lost both my parents that same year, and our plans understandably took a back seat for a while.
But in 2017, Impact Flags finally hit the road.
We didn't want to sell the same flags as everybody else
At our first show, we were selling flags from a wholesale catalogue. It didn't take long to realise that wasn't really what we wanted to do. We wanted to create our own.
Today, our range is deliberately kept to around 150 designs. Every year, we introduce roughly 10–20 new ones and retire others to make room. Once a design is retired, we don't reprint it.
Some ideas begin as little scribbles in notebooks. Others are inspired by conversations at shows. Some never make it beyond the drawing board, and that's fine by us.
We'd rather have a smaller collection of flags we're genuinely happy with than thousands of designs just to fill a catalogue.
And yes, some of our designs are a little cheeky. We make no apologies for that!
We'd rather give you good advice than make a bigger sale
When you meet us at a show, you'll find we're pretty straightforward.
If you ask which flagpole we'd recommend, we'll tell you what we genuinely think will work best. That might be a 6m or 7m pole rather than the biggest, most expensive one on the stand.
We don't believe in selling somebody something they don't need.
We don't automatically price-match either. We work hard to keep our prices fair, while covering the real costs of attending shows and running a small business.
We'd rather you walk away happy with the right product than spend more money on something that doesn't suit you.
Why don't we sell flagpoles online?
Because we've tried it, and we've seen what can happen when long flagpoles meet less-than-careful couriers!
Damaged poles, replacement deliveries and disappointed customers aren't much fun for anybody.
So we sell our flagpoles at shows instead, where we can help you choose the right size and you can take it away with you. We still sell our flags, lighting and other suitable products online.
More than just customers
One of the nicest things about doing shows is the people we've met along the way.
Some customers come back year after year. Some visit us for another flag or a new set of lights. And some just stop to say hello, ask how we're doing and have a chinwag.
We love that.
We're part of the same show community as the people buying from us, and those friendships mean a great deal.
So whether you're looking for something colourful, something funny, a little help with a custom design or simply fancy saying hello, you're always welcome.
We're Impact Flags. We design things, sell a few flags, light up the occasional campsite and enjoy meeting the people who make it all worthwhile.
And if you see us at a show, come over and say hello. You don't have to buy anything. Promise.
